So since I couldn’t find something I liked, I made something I liked! I gave Frogurt big pillowy slab serifs, a slightly irregular baseline, and just enough tilt and variation to be fun while still keeping things really clean and readable. The outlines are cleaned up and sharp, so Frogurt will work well for both printing and cutting. F

I stumbled upon this typeface in 2016 in San Francisco while walking down Clay Street. It was set in all bronze inside this concrete slab out front of a garage. I kind of fell in love with it and after taking a few photos of the signage and trying to find the actual typeface to no avail I decided to recreate it.
